Computational Astrobiology Summer Symposium 2011
The Computational Astrobiology Summer Symposium 2011 is an event organized for future scientists and engineers to provide them with practical knowledge. This symposium was powered by our advanced visualization technologies, with assistance from Postdoc Tony Bernardin.
The invite-only special event was dedicated to undergraduate students, excited to explore astrobiology and applied computer skills. Hosted by the University of Hawaii NASA Astrobiology Institute, the symposium was an excellent opportunity for carefully selected students. They could take part in realistic projects and solve the current astrobiology problems with the help of their computer skills. With plenty of individual and team tasks, students had an opportunity to use their programming skills to come up with helpful tools for scientific research.
